Book fair
Student members of the Human Development and Family Studies club will sell Scholastic books appropriate for preschool and kindergarten-age children. Fair began on Oct. 21.
Stuff The Bus Food Drive
Help stuff a CyRide bus full of nonperishable food donations for Mid-Iowa Community Action (MICA) to benefit needy families in the area. Donations are accepted at the five Ames grocery stores.
Dance social
Free dance social hosted by the ISU Ballroom Dance Club. Singles welcome. Dress is casual, however indoor shoes or socks must be worn in the studio. Check the website for a full schedule.
Swing dance lesson
"Xtra Moves Night." Free introductory swing dance lesson hosted by the ISU Ballroom Dance Club. Includes both beginning and more advanced steps taught by Steve Grody. No partner required.
