Retirement reception: Edward Kannel
Retirement reception for Edward J. Kannel, who has been a professor in the department of civil, construction and environmental engineering for 35 years. He is a faculty member in transportation engineering, an academic adviser, and served as associate chair for the department from 1992 to 2007. Please join us in thanking professor Kannel for his dedication and service to the university. A brief program will begin at 2 p.m.

Free help session for the 2011 Pappajohn New Venture Business Plan competition, including information on writing a business plan and the competition itself. The competition is for Iowa college and university students with an interest in starting their own business.
