Iowa Energy Center speaker series
"Green Savings: How Policies and Markets Drive Energy Efficiency," Marilyn Ann Brown, Georgia Institute of Technology. Brown will introduce fresh perspectives on energy production, new technology, policymaking, user behavior and how these features all play critical roles in determining the best plan of action to overcome the global energy crisis. Stash The Trash
Stash the Trash is a volunteer effort that brings students and community members together to help clean up the Ames community and assist homeowners with yard work. The event is organized by the ISU Student Activities Center and the Volunteer Center of Story County. Volunteers can choose to work alone, with a group of people, or with an organization.
