Garden Quilt Show
Reiman Gardens' Quilt Show encourages the art of quilting by displaying a fabulous selection of "garden themed" quilts created by talented Iowans, and provide instruction, demonstrations and inspiration for both novice and experienced quilters.

Collaboration Coffee: STEM Education
This event is hosted by the Center for Excellence in Science, Mathematics and Engineering Education. All faculty, staff and students are welcome. The coffee series is a way to create connections across campus, help researchers and educators expand their understanding of STEM projects at ISU and open the doors for future collaborative opportunities.

Orientation: New students
This one-day orientation program is for freshmen and transfer students who were unable to attend orientation prior to the beginning of the fall semester. Students will obtain their ISU card, NetID, and register for classes with their academic advisers.

Registration Deadline
Last day to initiate registration in person without a late registration fee in the Registrar's Student Scheduling Office, 10 Enrollment Services Center by 5 p.m. Registration may be initiated using AccessPlus until 11 p.m. Aug 22, without a late registration fee.

Poster sale
The Student Activities Center at the Memorial Union is hosting its annual art and print poster sale. Thousands of posters are available, including art prints, movies, music and pop culture. Proceeds benefit art programs at the MU.
