Karagoz Performance of "Forest of the Witch"
The Forest of the Witch is a modern interpretation of a traditional Anatolian shadow play adapted and performed by Ayhan Hulagu. When Karagöz, the hero of traditional Anatolian shadow plays, cuts the branches from a magical tree, he is transformed into a series of animals, which leads to a comic sequence of adventures. Along the way, Karagöz and his sidekick Hacivat learn the importance of nature and protecting the environment.
Stained Glass Class with Rod Simpson
Create a small panel using an array of beautifully colored glass. Learn how to handle glass, choose colors and textures, fit glass to patterns, cut, grind, foil, and solder. Enhanced by daylight, your piece will change based on the weather, season, and time of day.

Cyclone Cinema is presented by the Student Union Board and showcases a variety of film genres, screening a different movie every weekend Thursday - Sunday during the semester. Sunday film screenings are in open caption format. All other screenings can be open caption as well, as long as the request is made to the staff prior to the movie starting.
