Art Walk: Walking in the Footsteps of Jack Trice
Join Lynette Pohlman, director and chief curator, to explore "Breaking the Barriers" a site-specific public work of art by artist Ivan Toth Depeña. The tour will examine behind-the-scenes glimpses in commissioning this heroic-scale sculpture for Iowa State.
Woodshop Orientation with John Burright
Learn the fundamentals of woodworking equipment while creating a key rack and shelf. Leave class with knowledge of proper machinery use and, most importantly, woodshop safety. Students may purchase the key rack for $10 after class, or we will use them for our Art Mart fundraiser. The orientation is required to use the woodshop on your own.
