Erin Baldwin, chief operating officer for the Mahaska Health Partnership, is one of two finalists for Iowa State's Thielen Student Health Center director position.
Local Food Festival: An Adventure in Eating
This event will feature educational displays, samples, recipes developed by ISU Dining chefs using local foods, and locally grown or produced items for sale by vendors and ISU clubs.
Disparities in Housing Recovery: Evidence from Galveston, Texas
Sara Hamideh, assistant professor of community and regional planning, will talk about planning for mitigation of and long-term recovery following natural and human-caused disasters. Part of the IDRO Friday Research Seminar Series.
Seminar: Nanovaccine Initiative and Immunobiology Graduate Program
"Human Intestinal Epithelial Response to Gastrointestinal Virus Infection Using Enteroids," Sarah Blutt, Baylor College of Medicine, Houston. Blutt will discuss her research on Enteroids model human rotavirus infection in the small intestine. Refreshments will be provided.

Paint Your Own Pottery: Dinosaurs RAWR
"Painting" bisque is a fun and relaxing activity that can be done solo or with a group of friends. Incorporate a terrestrial vertebrate into your design or paint a dinosaur figurine. Studio fee is $4 for ISU and $5 for public to attend plus the cost of the bisque you select.
Carillon Concert
Opening collaborative concert for the Carillon Festival and Midwest Regional Carillon Conference. The concert features performers playing together in real time from remote locations -- university carillonneur Tin-Shi Tam (campanile), ISU student brass quintet (Music Hall) and New World Symphony (Miami). Live Music: Matt Easton
While producing all of his beats, Matt Easton also composes on the piano; his instrument of choice on stage. Easton started his career in 2010 when he released his first, self-produced, mixtape Intro to Public Speaking. Since then he has played across the country, gaining fans with every stop.
