STEM Education Collaboration Coffee
The Center for Excellence in Science, Mathematics and Engineering Education (CESMEE) invites those interested in STEM education to its next collaboration coffee. All students, faculty and staff are invited.
Courage to Stand - Tim Pawlenty
Former Minnesota Governor Tim Pawlenty is credited with balancing Minnesota's budget three times without raising taxes, despite record budget deficits. He served ten years in the Minnesota House of Representatives, including four years as House Majority Leader. His new biography is titled Courage to Stand.

The Office of the Vice President for Research and Economic Development and "Strengthening the Professoriate at ISU" are sponsoring a workshop on the broader impacts portion of an NSF grant proposal.
Tuesday Tea
Come to the Farm House Museum to enjoy tea and conversation about all things Farm House. Mark your calendar from 12:00 pm-1:00 pm Tuesdays this month and enjoy the 150 year old structure in a whole new way. Check the University Museums website to learn what the discussion topic will be. Can't make it at noon? The Farm House will be serving tea from 12 to 4 pm on Tuesdays so stop in any time.
Faculty Senate meeting
The Faculty Senate represents the general faculty of Iowa State University and participates in shared governance of the University with the administration. Senate meetings are open to the public and adjourn at 5 p.m.
