Fall convocation: College of Engineering
The program includes remarks from dean Jonathan Wickert and recognition of college faculty award recipients. A reception follows in the Howe Hall atrium.
Fall convocation: College of Liberal Arts and Sciences
The program includes presentations to LAS awards recipients; recognition of university awards recipients, new faculty and promoted faculty; and a "state of the college" address from interim dean David Oliver. A reception will follow.
Open house: LGBTSS
A welcome back ice cream social, hosted by the LGBTA Alliance and LGBT Student Services. Games, trivia, LGBTSS Center tours and the potential to connect with resources and organizations across ISU and the Ames community!
Orientation: MBLGTACC
Orientation session to learn more about the Midwest Bisexual Lesbian Gay Transgender Ally College Conference, which will be held at ISU on Feb. 10-12, 2012. It is the largest student-run LGBTQA college conference in the country.
