Dragoon River Romp
The Dragoon River Romp is a river cleanup project along the Des Moines River in Boone County. Different sections of the River are cleaned each year.2017 the area from Fraser to Water Works will be cleaned.Land based volunteers can ride on buses to the different boat ramps in the county to clean up along the boat ramps.Free t-shirts and draw string backpack to all volunteers. Seven Oaks supplies the canoes and transportation to and from the river.

Hailey Whitters is an American country musician from Shueyville, Iowa. Whitters co-wrote Little Big Town's song "Happy People", from their 2017 album The Breaker.
