Copyright in the Classroom: Support for Instructors
Representatives from the University Library and University Counsel will use real-life scenarios to help you navigate copyright concerns related to teaching. Participants will leave with examples of how to approach common copyright concerns like Fair Use evaluation, resources they can consult for more information, and a list of support available on campus.
Finding Funding Using Campus Resources
ISU provides excellent resources to assist faculty with the search for research funding. In this hands-on training you will learn how to strategically use websites and proprietary databases to identify and connect with funding opportunities and to set up saved searches, shared opportunities, and receive funding alert emails.

Working with Subrecipients and Advanced Budgets
This session will discuss practical ways to work with subrecipients and collaborators during the proposal preparation and submission process, as well as dive deeper into budget templates and special circumstances for budgets.
Fall workshop: Term Faculty Advancement and Community
This event includes a presentation by associate provost for faculty Dawn Bratsch-Prince and Sara Marcketti, director of the Center for Excellence in Learning and Teaching (CELT) and Morrill Professor in the apparel, events and hospitality management department. There will be time for networking and refreshments. Term faculty, faculty mentors and college and department administrators are welcome.
