When Sweeney Todd returns to London after 15 years of unjust imprisonment in Australia, his landlady, Mrs. Lovett, tells him that his wife poisoned herself after being raped by the judge who condemned him to exile. Sweeney Todd vows revenge and Mrs. Lovett finds a way to increase her sales of meat pies. With music by Stephen Sondheim, this musical won the Tony for Best Musical. Event held in cooperation with ISU Music.

Corey Moss co-directed, wrote and produced a 78-minute feature documentary Dear Jack about the Jack's Mannequin/Something Corporate singer Andrew McMahon and his bout with leukemia at the age of 22. An ISU alum, Moss is an executive producer at Yahoo! Originals, where he created "Primetime in No Time," the highest-rated show on the Web. He has also written and directed short films. A screening of his film will follow the lecture.
