Open house: National Student Employment Week
Hosted by the Office of Student Financial Aid for students employed either on or off campus. Student Employee of the Year and Students of Distinction will be honored. "Breakfast on the Go" theme includes free food and beverages and drawings for door prizes.
NSF Transforming Undergraduate Education in STEM Mock Panel Review
This workshop will engage participants in a mock panel review of an actual proposal submitted to the Course, Curriculum and Laboratory Improvement (CCLI) or Transforming Undergraduate Education in STEM (TUES) programs. Participants will be required to read the proposal in advance and prepare an individual review identifying its strengths and weaknesses according to the NSF review criteria.

Women's Studies Brown Bag Series
"Children in Armed Conflict: Transformative Ritual as Peacebuilding," Ashley Schmuecker, senior in religious studies. This session will look at children's ritual in healing, trauma therapy and the child solider community reintegration thus establishing a foundational understanding of how ritual is used with orphaned or vulnerable children (OVC) in armed conflict.
