Spring Ag Career Fair
This is the fifth annual spring event sponsored by the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences. About 100 employers are expected to participate. It is open to the public.
Woodshop Orientation with Dan Newbauer
For the beginner who wants to learn the fundamentals of woodworking equipment. Proper usage of the machinery will be covered, as well as woodshop safety. This class is required in order to use the woodshop on your own.

Afternoon Oil Painting with Sara Merritt
Through this class, students will become comfortable using oil paint, and gain confidence in color mixing, composition, and paint application.
Info session: Noyce Scholarship
A question and answer session for students interested in the Robert Noyce Scholarship program, named for the inventor of the microchip and funded by the National Science Foundation. This $10,000 annual scholarship is for mathematics, science or engineering majors who wish to earn teaching certification at the middle/junior high or high school level at one of Iowa's public universities. Pizza and pop will be provided.
Wheel Pottery Section I with Greg Lamont
A multi-level class for both beginners and those with basic experience. Students will be guided through all aspects of forming bowls, mugs, vases and more on the pottery wheel. Learn hand-pulling, glazing and finishing techniques.

Social Justice Summit
The Social Justice Summit provides students with the opportunity to increase their awareness of inclusion issues and to develop action plans that will assist them in being agents of change on campus. Registration is free and open to ISU undergraduate and graduate students.

A second show at 9pm.

Free dance social hosted by the ISU Ballroom Dance Club. Singles welcome. Dress is casual, however indoor shoes or socks must be worn.

Varieties Semifinals
Varieties has been showcasing the talent of Iowa State students for more than 80 years. Performances consist of 18-20 minute "mini-musicals" that are performed with original lyrics and choreography. Shorter acts, called vignettes, perform as well. A vignette consists of any talent that a student may have, from belly dancing to stand-up comedy. In this way, Varieties serves as Iowa State University's student talent show!

Assembled: Student Exhibit Artwork Drop off
Open to ISU students of all majors. Artists can submit works incorporating metal, clay, fiber, wood and mixed media for jury. Forty pieces will be chosen to be on display in the Pioneer Room.

Cocktail Table and Tray with Dan Neubauer
Impress your guests with a hand-made cocktail table and tray at your next gathering. Using 2 x 4's as the basic building blocks beginner students will gain confidence in using power tools in the woodshop.
Origami with Vamsi Andalam
Learn the art of paper folding. Start with the basics - how to read patterns and recreate the folds. Then you will learn to fold some traditional designs like a flower, butterfly, frog, along with geometric designs like cubes, boxes, tetrahedrons.

Crochet with Calee Himes
Learn everything a beginner needs to know - from how to hold the yarn and hook properly to the definitions of frequently used crochet lingo. Learn stitches, how to count them and how to crochet in the round to make wrist-warmers or square coasters.

The career fair enables students to explore career opportunities, obtain employer information and locate internships, co-ops and full-time positions. Employers have the opportunity to connect with promising candidates for job and internship openings as well as network with university personnel and other employers.
Paintpushers Reception and Show Critique
Area artists are invited to bring a current piece of artwork for a group critique. Attendees may participate in the candid discussion of the art, or just come and observe how a critique works.
