Ramsey lecture series: "H3N8 Canine Influenza Virus Epidemiology"
Cynda Crawford, DVM, Ph.D., University of Florida, will present "H3N8 Canine Influenza Virus Epidemiology." Crawford led the team that first identified the divergence of the H3N8 canine virus from the equine virus.
Richard F. Hansen Lecture in Architecture: Ursula Emery McClure
Ursula Emery McClure, FAAR, AIA, LEED AP, will present "Against Specialization," the Richard F. Hansen Lecture in Architecture, part of the Architecture Advisory Council Lecture Series at Iowa State University. With Michael A. McClure, Emery McClure is a founding partner of emerymcclure architecture, llc, Lafayette, La. She also is an associate professor in the School of Architecture at Louisiana State University, Baton Rouge.

Lecture: Gender, Culture and Politics at the Chicago World's Fair
Among the most popular attractions at the 1893 Chicago World's Fair was the Woman's Building, an exhibit hall filled with the products of women's labor, including a library of more than 8,000 volumes of writing by women. Wayne Wiegand will discuss his new co-authored publication, Right Here I See My Own Books, which situates the Woman's Building Library in its historical context.
