Memory Box Assemblages
Take inspiration from Kathy Svec's assemblages in her "Open Book Series" exhibit in the Pioneer Room. Work directly with Kathy in the exhibit space for an afternoon, and get expert help in putting your precious items together in an artistic, meaningful way.

Wheel Pottery
Students will be guided through all aspects of forming bowls, mugs, vases, and more on the pottery wheel.
Origami
Learn to read paper folding patterns and how to create the folds. Then practice folding traditional designs such as flowers, butterflies and frogs, along with geometric designs like cubes, boxes, and tetrahedrons.
Resin Jewelry
Try out one of the most diverse mediums to create jewelry. Use fabric, paper, flower petals, etc.

ClubFest II
ClubFest is an opportunity for students to browse through over 250 clubs and organizations to find out how to GET INVOLVED on campus. Although there are over 800 clubs and orgs on campus, a large sample will have booths with informational hand-outs and giveaways to highlight their club and recruit new members.

Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Legacy Convocation
Celebrate the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and learn how his principles are still relevant today. Iowa State alumnus Arnold Woods III of Des Moines will serve as the keynote speaker. The program will include music by The People and the presentation of the Advancing One Community Awards. A reception will follow.
