Retirement reception: Tom Beell
Tom Beell, professor of journalism and mass communication, is retiring after 38 years of service to Iowa State. A short program will begin at 2:15 p.m.

"Fundraising for Success." This workshop covers the key components of campaign fundraising, with special emphasis on understanding why people give and making the in-person "ask." This session also addresses developing a strategy for your campaign, building a donor list, recruiting and motivating a finance committee, and special events.
