Open forum: Executive chef finalist Peter Castillo
Peter Castillo currently works for Great Plains Food Service Consulting, Lenexa, Kan. The university community is invited to attend.
Wheel Pottery Class
Students will be guided through all aspects of forming bowls, mugs, vases and more on the pottery wheel. Learn hand-pulling, glazing and finishing techniques. Open to absolute beginners as well as those with experience who would like to improve their technique and abilities.
Swing Class
This class will lead you through basic swing dancing so that you'll feel comfortable on the social dance floor and dancing to a variety of swing music. We'll touch on elements of Jitterbug, Charleston and Lindy Hop. Swing is a great social dance and is loads of fun. No partner or experience required!
