During this workshop, staff from New Student Programs (the office that plans and coordinates new student Orientation and Destination Iowa State) as well as staff from the Memorial Union's Event Management Office will provide you with strategies and best practices for planning great events on any scale!
Use botanicals from Reiman Gardens in a tiny work of hand-crafted art. In this workshop, we will carefully press and dry flowers and foliage, mount them to paper, and cut them into clever shapes to assemble into unique paper terrariums that make a perfect holiday gift or shadowbox treasure. Preregistration and payment required by October 27.

Learn basic belly dance movements and how to perform them in a variety of different ways by making specific choices about size and speed of motion. One or two moves will be explored each week and then put into short practice phrases.
