Alexis Dwyer is a print-maker, and her recent work is with cyanotypes - a photographic printing process that produces imagery in white with an indigo background. From crisp, recognizable outlines to blurred objects that seem to float on fabric, she explores discarded items as re-purposed art.

"Vanishing Vaquitas: Lessons from a Humble Porpoise" - Barbara Taylor is a conservation biologist at the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administrationâ€™s Southwest Fisheries Science Center and involved with recent efforts to protect the critically endangered vaquita porpoises.
