Performance: Our Town
Ordinary life has great joys that very few people fully appreciate. There are also the transcendent moments surrounding love and death that come to all. This masterpiece of American theatre takes place in a small New England town at the turn of the last century. Through its themes lies the understanding that we are all connected no matter when we have lived and that we know in our hearts that something is eternal and it isn't the objects we own.

Out of the Fire: The Banned Books Monologues
First performed on campus Fall 2017, this encore performance features a selection of the monologues and will be performed in the ReACT Gallery. Banned books included range from "James and the Giant Peach" to "Lady Chatterley's Lover" and some by ISU students. Directed by Amanda Petefish-Schrag, ISU Theatre.

Photography, as we know it today, takes place on the screen of a computer or phone, but before the invention of these devices, all photographs were physical objects that could be touched, turned, held and looked at under a magnifying glass. Explore the Farm House Museum Collection of 19th Century photography with Charlie Coffey, exhibition curator, photographer, and University Museums intern extraordinaire.
