The new Advanced Teaching and Research Building (ATRB) represents the university's continued commitment to excellence in the biosciences. The state-of-the-art building is also home to two significant new works of art by Rose Frantzen and Ball-Nogues. Join University Museums and Associate Professor Rob Wallace in celebrating the new additions to our Art on Campus Collection.
Walk-in Craft: Women's March Sign Making Day
Get ready for the Women's March in Des Moines on January 20. Sign-making supplies will be available, as well as large tables to work around. Our playlist will include some Beyonce, Nina Simone and Gloria Gaynor for inspiration. Pick up one of our feminist buttons, or make your own for 50 cents. There is no charge for sign-making and this is open to all ages if accompanied by an adult. Together we rise!
