OPN Masterclass Closing Installation and Reception
Final installation/exhibition of work by fourth-year architecture undergraduate and second-year architecture graduate students who have participated in the five-day OPN Masterclass with guest faculty member David Gersten, director of interdisciplinary learning at the Cooper Union and founding director of the Arts Letters & Numbers nonprofit arts and education organization. This will be an experiential, interactive event with refreshments.

Retirement reception: Karen Kerper
Karen Kerper, a medical technologist in the Thielen Student Health Center, is retiring. She joined Thielen's laboratory department staff in 2011. A brief program will begin at 1:30 p.m.

Open house: Strategic facilities plan
Facilities planning and management is collecting input on how the university community uses its buildings and spaces. The information will be used to develop a strategic plan for future investment in design improvements or renewal of ISU campus facilities. Refreshments will be provided.

Public reception for exhibition by Ames artist Catherine Reinhart, who served as artist-in-residence and manager of the gallery for two years, at the invitation of the College of Design.
