"Crushing It," poems by Jennifer Knox, associate teaching professor of English. Her poems have appeared in journals such as The New Yorker, Poetry, American Poetry Review, Granta, and five times in The Best American Poetry series. She is the recipient of fellowships from the Iowa Arts Council and the Milwaukee County Arts Fund. Along with teaching and writing, she is the proprietor of Saltlickers, a small spice-blend company.Â

We'll touch on salary caps, just-in-time requests, standard due dates and start dates, and proposal scoring. You'll walk away with some tips, tricks and common issues with proposal development, and you'll have some useful resources to help you through the proposal development process.

The Quest for Environmental and Climate Justice
Robert D. Bullard is often described as the father of environmental justice. He is the former Dean of the Barbara Jordan-Mickey Leland School of Public Affairs at Texas Southern University 2011-2016. Dr. Bullard will discuss the intersection of environmental action (or inaction) and racial disparities that plague minority communities.
