"Facing Our Truth: Student Monologues on Race and Privilege," directed by Tiffany Johnson, ISU Theatre artist in residence. Students will share original monologues reflecting on their experience being part of the cast in part to incite discussion in our collective communities around these issues.

Iowa Songwriters Showcase
Angela Meyer is a country music artist based in Eastern Iowa in the tiny town of McCausland. She has played professionally around the Quad Cities area for over 10 years, and shows from New Mexico to New York. Along the way, she has graced stages of all sizes including the National Finals Rodeo events in Las Vegas. Hear her debut album "Consequence" where music is streamed or sold. "The Road I Grew Up On: Requiem for a Vanishing Era," author Helen Gunderson. Gunderson's book consists of regional and neighborhood history, a personal memoir, and spiritual insights as well as many black-and-white and color photographs. Daniel Hartwig, head of Special Collections and University Archives, will moderate a conversation between Gunderson and Cornelia Butler Flora, Distinguished Professor of Sociology Emerita.
