Horticulture Club: Poinsettia sale
Poinsettias are available in red, white, and specialty colors. Six-inch pots will be sold for $15 and ten-inch pots will be sold for $35. Preorders are available and can be picked up Dec. 1-4 at Horticulture Hall or the sale location.
Forestry Club: Tree and wreath sale
Students in the forestry club will sell Christmas trees and holiday wreaths. Proceeds support club activities.
WinterFest
WinterFest provides a unique combination of winter-themed events, activities, displays and traditions to help students relieve their end-of-semester stress and connect with the Ames community.
WinterFest: Open house
Stop by to meet President Wendy Wintersteen and Robert Waggoner. Complimentary hot chocolate, apple cider, cookies, and ice cream from The Creamery also will be available. Music will also be provided by an ISU student string quartet.
Yuletide Evening at the Farm House Museum
Hosted by the University Museums' interns, in conjunction with Winterfest, celebrate the holiday season at the Farm House Museum. Take part in Victorian yuletide-themed activities and crafts while you enjoy holiday treats. The carriage from the Memorial Union will stop at the Farm House Museum.
WinterFest: Jingle Jog
Check-in begins at 4 p.m. in the Memorial Union main lounge. Participants get a t-shirt. The proceeds benefit the Andy Albright Scholarship, awarded to a Student Government First-Year Council member.
