Performance: Town and Gown Chamber Music
Piano soloist Alon Goldstein's extensive international career has ranged from concerto performances under Zubin Mehta in his native Israel to Mozart's Triple Concerto with the Chicago Symphony and his mentor, Leon Fleisher, and Katherine Jacobson Fleisher. An avid recitalist and chamber musician, he was nominated this year for a Grammy award for chamber music. Currently "Distinguished Visiting Professor" at the University of Missouri-Kansas City,
