Victorian Fables, Follies and Fairytales
Gather around the fireplace in the Farm House Museum parlor to hear Victorian fables, follies and fairytales. These stories are a bit darker than children's stories of today. This in-person program will be livestreamed.
Argentine Tango Drop-In Lessons
This Milonga (dance party) is a multi-level class with lots of time to enjoy the music and dance. Classes meet every Sunday and drop-ins are welcome. Purchase a dance punch card and attend as often as your schedule allows. Open to ages 18+.

Drop-In Craft: Beaded Felt Bowls
Make a cute and handy little bowl. Choose a thick felt circle with pre-made holes in a color you like, along with a handful of large beads. You will stitch the beads into the felt and cinch it at the end with strong thread and a sturdy needle. This is a fun project that is perfect for all ages and skill sets.

Art Walk: Athletics and the Body
Athletics and the depiction of the human form is a vital theme in both Iowa State's history and the Art on Campus Collection. Museums Docent Steve Petska will lead an art walk in connection with the "Honoring Jack Trice" exhibition at the Christian Petersen Museum.
Guillermo Galindo: Redefining the Boundaries of Music Composition
Guillermo Galindo has spent his career redefining the conventional limits between music, the art of music composition and the intersections between art disciplines, politics, humanitarian issues, spirituality and social awareness. Much of his work focuses on the stories of migrants and refugees told through experimental music and performance art. He will give a public lecture March 29 and premiere his "Transonic Borders" composition March 30.

Guillermo Galindo: Transonic Borders
An experimental composer, sonic architect, performance and visual media artist, Guillermo Galindo explores the intersection of art and social consciousness with a focus on the stories of migrants and refugees. He will premiere his "Transonic Borders" composition, which features sound-generating devices fashioned from items found discarded at the U.S.-Mexico border.
Textured Floral Painting Workshop w/ Kristin Erdman
Use palette knives and frosting-like textured paint mediums to create the modern 3D floral paintings you've seen all over Instagram. The process of mixing the medium and applying it to your canvas is almost meditative, so this beginner class will be a great stress-reliever! You will leave with two post-worthy paintings and the skills to continue making more at home.

REGISTRATION REQUIRED! For Part 1 of Words Meet Art with Ames Writers Collective, participants will receive a guided tour of "Harriet Bart: Material Alchemy" to educate and inspire creativity. An introduction to "writing to writing prompts" will follow with writing sessions to connect writers to the exhibition.

When Agnes finds Tilly's Dungeons and Dragons notebook, she finds herself catapulted into a journey of discovery and action-packed adventure in the imaginary world that was her sister's refuge. Concert: Archer Oh w/ Surely Tempo
Ages of consecutive, bucket-list-worthy support gigs - including two U.S. tours alongside The Red Pears - have made Archer Oh, Moreno Valley, California's not-so-best-kept secret, near-impossible to ignore. Established in 2015 by Arturo "Archer" Medrano, the four bandmates perform with vehement passion, yet are infectiously silly & kind.
