Curator's Tour of "Art of Fabrication"
Curator Sydney Marshall will lead a tour of the new installation "Ghost Trees" in the Anderson Sculpture Garden by artist Tom Stancliffe, as well as explore the artist's connections to the larger Art on Campus Collection with a look at the exhibition "Art of Fabrication."
Songwriter Showcase (outdoors): Scott Stilwell and John Paul Burtch
Iowa musicians Scott Stilwell and John Paul Burtch will perform as part of the Goldfinch Room Iowa Songwriters Showcase. This event will be on the lawn and patrons are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets. Food and beverages will be available for purchase. Alchohol is not allowed.

Display Case band members came together in a basement in suburban Des Moines Iowa, releasing their first album, "Make Your Mark" in 2012 and completing their first two national tours in 2013 & 2014.

Drop in Craft: Air Plant Terrarium
A little horticulture therapy is good for the soul and mother earth. Choose a glass container and add sand, stones, moss, and other natural elements to create a terrarium. Next, paint a wood block to use as the base, and assemble with a live air plant. Glass for this project is from thrift stores and donations, and air plants are purchased locally at Back Alley Plants. Reduce - reuse - recycle.

Join University Museums for an Art Walk centering around large-scale public art and environmental installation. In partnership with the exhibition "Tom Stancliffe: Drift," visit outdoor installations that meaningfully interact with the environment.
Drop-in Paint Pours w/Rhonda Scott
The Workspace is the perfect place to try your hand at acrylic pours and create an abstract painting full of marbled swirls and cells of color. For best results, leave your painting to dry to pick up later in the week, but making and taking is OK, too.
