This is one of the most heart-warming films ever made from the true story of the legend of the Sullivan family from Waterloo, Iowa whose five sons died fighting side by side in World War II. The only ship ever named for more than one person, the U.S.S. The Sullivans was commissioned by the Navy as a posthumous tribute.
