Presented by Iowa Dance Theatre. This is a comedy ballet of romance and satire. Costumes are optional; there will be a costume contest at the conclusion of the performance. A second performance begins at 8:30 p.m.

The mysterious Count Dracula travels through time and places on the quest for his bride. Befriended by bats and zombies, Dracula struggles between good and evil and life and death, as he pursues his love, Marie - a symbol of eternal purity and innocence. Over centuries, Dracula courts Marie in places such as a castle, Kiev, the Paris opera, a street corner in New York, a rehearsal hall and a cabaret, where each encounter gives a historic look at the style of ballet for the time period.
