Pam Houston is author of two short story collections, "Cowboys Are My Weakness" and "Waltzing the Cat;" a collection of essays, "A Little More About Me;" and the novel "Sighthound." Part of the Symposium on Wildness, Wilderness and the Creative Imagination.

She has contributed literary essays for CBS Sunday Morning, has been a guest on the Oprah Winfrey Show, and is director of Creative Writing at the University of California Davis.
