In contemporary art, depictions of nudity seem more and more often to be blurring the line between the sensational and the sensual as seen in the exhibition "Thursday Night Sessions." This program will delve into the world of the nude in art.

John Cunnally, associate professor in art history, will educate us on the history of the female nude in art. He will be joined by Susan Stewart, associate professor in sociology, who will explain the American response to nude figures in contrast with other countries around the world.
