ISU AfterDark will be kicking off its late night series Friday, Sept. 10, at the Memorial Union. From 9 p.m. to 1 a.m., several free events will be taking place throughout the MU.
• At 9 p.m., on the top of the MU parking ramp, Student Union Board will be co-sponsoring a showing of the movie Toy Story 3. This installation in the Toy Story movie series tells what happens when Andy goes to the college and his toys are left behind. Be sure to bring a chair or blanket! (Rain location: Great Hall)
• At 11 p.m. in the Great Hall, the Sklar Brothers (co-sponsored by the Committee on Lectures and SUB) will be performing a comedy routine. You may recognize these comedians from their appearances in HBO's "Entourage," F/X's "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia," and E!'s "Chelsea Lately."
• From 10 p.m. - midnight in the Gallery, Workspace instructor Shiara will be giving free belly dancing lessons. Whether you're a belly dancing beginner or have taken her class before, stop by the Gallery for some free fitness and fun!
• The Workspace will be doing Cyclone Spirit crafts including Cardinal and Gold Tie Dyed Bandanas and Cy Magnets from 9 p.m. - midnight.
• The Underground will offer free Bowling and Billiards from 9 p.m. - 1 a.m.
• BINGO, an AfterDark favorite, will be held in the Sun Room and South Ballroom from 9 p.m. - 1 a.m. Your chance to win great prizes!
• Free food from Panda Express will be handed out in the MU Commons at 10 and 11 p.m.
ISU AfterDark events are free and open to all ISU students. Future events will be held on Oct. 8 and Nov. 5. Mark your calendars because you won't want to miss out on these free campus events!
