"Sources of Energy for Iowa State: Are We Moving Towards Sustainability?" Jeff Witt, ISU utility services. He will provide an overview of ISU's future energy needs and options.

Witt manages the ISU Power Plant, a coal-fired plant that efficiently supplies heating, cooling and electricity to the campus using the process of co-generation. He has been involved in testing biomass as alternative fuel in the power plant and was involved in the negotiations to purchase wind power as part of ISU's energy portfolio.
