William King's lyrical sculptures explore the strengths and weaknesses of the human condition. The elongated and larger-than-life forms often poke fun at the realities of human action and interaction. Nancy Girard, educator, will discuss King's human figure tradition and his installation in the Elizabeth and Byron Anderson Sculpture Garden.
