"Optimization of doubled haploid production in maize" Adam Vanous (thesis)

Evaluate the efficacy of induction and chromosome doubling in elite maize populations. The anti-microtubule agents colchicine, isoxaben, trifluralin, pronamide, pendimethalin, and acetochlor will be utilized for the chromosome doubling. Phenotypic trait data will be evaluated on plant development to compare the effects of the anti-microtubule agents.
