Students, faculty and staff are invited to help fill an image of a bare Japanese flowering cherry tree with cherry blossom stickers and write messages of hope and caring to the people of Japan. Cost is $1 for 5 stickers. Proceeds will go to the Red Cross. Sponsored by the Graphic Design Student Association.

Students, faculty and staff are invited to participate in the Cherry Blossom Project, Tuesday, April 26, and Wednesday, April 27. A poster with an image of a bare Japanese flowering cherry tree will be on the forum wall outside Gallery 181 in the College of Design. You can purchase a set of 5 cherry blossom stickers for $1, then place the stickers on the poster along with a message for the people of Japan. When the project is finished, the tree will be in full bloom with the cherry blossom stickers.

Proceeds will be donated to the Red Cross. The project also will be videorecorded to upload on YouTube and send virally through social media. There will be a consent form to sign to be a part of the video.

The project is sponsored by the Graphic Design Student Association (GDSA).
