Are you concerned about increasing class size? Do larger classes necessitate a different way of teaching? How can you prevent cheating and plagiarism? How can you engage majors vs. non-majors, or students taking required vs. elective classes? We will discuss these topics and invite you to add your own.

This new TLC will bring you together with a community of scholars to exchange ideas about effective large class teaching and learning strategies. The information shared will help you keep your students actively engaged in learning while reducing your grading time. Facilitators: Jim Colbert, Ecology, Evolution, and Organismal Biology; and Richard Mansbach, Political Science. 5 consecutive Tuesdays, 3:10 - 4:30 p.m., March 5, 12, 26; April 2, and 9. Note: No meeting during spring break: March 19, 2013
