CODAC Spring Sale
The CODAC (College of Design Art Club) Spring Sale of work by integrated studio/visual arts students and club members is a great place to find unique gifts for upcoming spring and summer celebrations, or something for yourself. Most proceeds go to the artists, while the rest help fund club activities such as workshops, field trips and guest speakers.

A Stolen History: The REAL Story of the Suffrage Movement
Dr. Sally Roesch Wagner is the Founder/Director of the Matilda Joslyn Gage Foundation and teaches in Syracuse University’s Honors Program. Awarded one of the first doctorates in the country for work in women’s studies (UC Santa Cruz) and a founder of one the first college-level women’s studies programs in the United States (CSU Sacramento), Dr. Wagner has taught women’s studies courses for 53 years.Â

Faculty and students will lend their (lack of) artistic skills to draw pets (badly), with an accompanying fundraiser for the Story County Animal Shelter. Gregg Colburn, an associate professor in the University of Washington's Runstad Department of Real Estate and co-author of "Homelessness is a Housing Problem: How Structural Factors Explain U.S. Patterns," will present the 2024 Iowa State University Homelessness Symposium keynote lecture on the same topic. He will cover U.S. cities' varied experiences with housing precarity and offer policy solutions for unique regional contexts.

This American classic based on the Salem witch trials of 1692 tells the story of a village that becomes embroiled in a witch hunt. The people of the village live in a constant state of fear as more and more people are accused of witchcraft. "The Crucible" will run in repertory with "John Proctor is the Villain."

Alice Wetterlund is a stand-up comedian and actor originally from Minneapolis, Minnesota. She performs regularly mostly in LA at independent shows as well as San Francisco's Punchline, and LA's Largo and The Hollywood Improv, festivals and clubs throughout the continent.

Stash The Trash
Stash the Trash is a volunteer effort that brings students and community members together to help clean up the Ames community. The event is supported by the City of Ames, Iowa State University and Iowa Home Consulting. Volunteers can choose to work alone, with a group of people, or with an organization - and clean-up their neighborhood or favorite outdoor area.
