In the Greek myth Iphigenia is the daughter of Agamemnon who is told by a goddess that he must sacrifice his daughter in order to be granted wind so that his ships can sail to Troy. Knowing that his wife would never agree, he tricks Iphigenia and her mother into coming to him by telling her that she is to marry the great hero, Achilles. This is a new telling of the old legend.

Best known for her song "From a Table Away", country singer Sunny Sweeney is a Texas native whose music-style resembles Kacey Musgraves and Josh Turner.

Photography before the Age of the iPhone
Emily Morgan, assistant professor of Art History will use the Farm House Museum collection and current exhibition to talk about the development of photography in the 19th century.
Banquet: 25 Year Club
The 25 Year Club honors employees who have served the University for 25, 35, 45 or 50 consecutive years at this annual banquet. Social hour starts at 5:30 p.m.; dinner begins at 6:15 p.m. Reservations are required to attend.

Workshop: Assignments and Gradebook in Canvas
Assignments are a backbone of the course's Gradebook in Canvas. Participants will learn to create and manage Assignments and Assignment Groups as well as explore how the Gradebook is connected to the organization of Assignments. Participants will experience the power of SpeedGrader for efficient and effective grading.
Panel discussion: Know Your Rights
This forum. open to the ISU and Ames communities, will address questions such as: What are the rights and information for residents navigating DACA concerns? What are the resources including legal support both in Iowa and at ISU? What are some community resources for support?

Portable and Accessible Gardening
It is important to consider our own physical health when designing garden spaces. Director Ed Lyon will discuss trends in low-impact gardening, from creating portable (movable) gardens, to raised beds for accessibility, and limited space gardening.

This lively productions tells the uproarious story of Monty Navarro, a distant heir to a family fortune who sets out to jump the line of succession by any means necessary. All the while, he's got to juggle his mistress, his fiancee, and the constant threat of landing behind bars! Of course, it will all be worth it if he can slay his way to his inheritance ... and be done in time for tea.

Artful Yoga
The practice will begin at 5:30 with a brief talk connecting the current exhibition to the yoga practice. No yoga experience is necessary, but please bring your own mat. Free, but online registration required at www.museums.iastate.edu.

Dan Wood, FAIA, a founding partner of WORK Architecture Company (WORKac) in New York City, will trace his 15 years of collaboration with co-founder Amale Andraos in the 2018 Richard F. Hansen Lecture in Architecture at Iowa State.
