Walk-in Argentine Tango
This Milonga (dance party) is a multi-level class with lots of time to enjoy the music and dance. From 4-5pm, moves for beginners are introduced with a different figure each week along with techniques for better dancing. From 5-7pm, the floor is yours for dancing under the guidance of Valerie Williams, and for working with different partners. An intermediate level figure will also be introduced during this time.

Research workshop: The IRB Submission Process
As part of this presentation, participants will learn tips on developing and submitting protocols to the IRB. A member of the IRB staff will walk through key sections of the non-exempt IRB application and explain what the IRB looks for during the review process. While the new protocol software system, IRBManager, will be discussed, this training will focus on the development of content for protocols, not the electronic system.

Bookmobile: Ames Public Library
In partnership with the university library, the Ames Public Library's Bookmobile added a regular Iowa State stop to its weekly route. The Bookmobile will park behind Bessey Hall from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Thursdays. Items from the Ames Public Library (for all ages) can be checked out, returned or reserved in advance for pick up.
