This session will look at children's ritual in healing, trauma therapy and the child solider community reintegration thus establishing a foundational understanding of how ritual is used with orphaned or vulnerable children (OVC) in armed conflict.

Phyllis Kanki, DVM, SD, Harvard School of Public Health, will present "Diversity of the HIV Epidemic in Africa: Consequences for AIDS Treatment Programs." Kanki has built on the successes of HIV prevention methods in Senegal by establishing and leading the AIDS Prevention Initiative program in Nigeria, funded by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.

Nathan Sumsion is a senior game designer at Avalanche-Disney Interactive Studios. Most recently, he was senior designer on Toy Story 3 for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Wii, released in summer 2010, and on Meet the Robinsons for PlayStation 2, GameCube, Wii and Xbox 360, released in spring 2007. He also taught Game Design Process and Visual Interface Design in the game design program at ITT Tech in Salt Lake City.
