"Create Peace" for 11 Days of Global Unity
For the fifth year, Ames will participate in the 11 Days of Global Unity, a program launched in 2004 as a promotion of peace, justice and environmental sustainability. It seeks to inspire, inform and involve humanity in helping to create a world that works for all.
Woodshop Orientation
For the beginner who wants to learn the fundamentals of woodworking equipment. Proper usage of the machinery will be covered, as well as woodshop safety. This class is required in order to use the woodshop on your own.

Grandma Mojo's Moonshine Revival is Iowa State University's award-winning student sketch and improv group. For only $1 on select Wednesday evenings, the Mojo's crew will provide a night of laughter, passion, drama, action and more laughter!

Rent-a-Puppy fundraiser
"Rent" and play with a shelter dog within a designated area on the south Campanile lawn for a half hour for only $10 ($15 for groups up to three). All dogs are from a local animal shelter.

ISU Fall Leadership Conference
As a part of this conference, each participant will choose a track. These tracks will provided information to students at all stages at ISU and in their development.

Teal Wheels: Biking for Tikes
Dance Marathon will host an 8-mile fun bike ride through campus and the Ames community, bike decorating and an exciting tricycle race. Anyone is welcome to participate. "Little Dresses for Africa" Work Weekend
Simple dresses made out of pillowcases provide relief and hope for the children of Africa. We will provide the supplies, but can use the hands of volunteers to assist with making the dresses. From cutting fabric and ironing to sewing, there is a place for anyone who has an hour or two to spare.
Argentine Tango Practica
This Milonga (dance party) is a multi-level class with lots of time to enjoy the music and dance. From 4- 5pm moves for beginners are introduced with a different figure each week along with techniques for dancing better. From 5 - 7pm the dance floor is yours for dancing under the guidance of Valerie and working with different partners. An intermediate level figure will also be introduced during this time.

Basketweaving: Witchy Boo
Weave a witch with a witch hat and broom just in time for the Halloween season. This class will use black dyed reed so wear old clothing and bring a towel.
Photoshop I: Beginners
Explore the basic tools in Photoshop, learn how they work and what they can do. This will be a slower paced, step by step, follow along class. Review tools, layers, and other complicated things that many beginners may not know exist. Discover how to find them and when it is best to use them.

The ISU Ambassadors have partnered with the League of Women Voters to provide voter registration forms and assistance at three campus locations.
Cocktail Table and Tray
Impress your guests with a hand-made cocktail table and tray at your next gathering. Using 2 x 4's as the basic building blocks beginner students will gain confidence in using power tools in the woodshop. More experienced students can work with Dan to go beyond the basics on their project. Option to make bar or lounge height depending on your needs.
