Walk-in Craft: Women's March Sign Making Day
Get ready for the Women's March in Des Moines on January 20. Sign-making supplies will be available, as well as large tables to work around. Our playlist will include some Beyonce, Nina Simone and Gloria Gaynor for inspiration. Pick up one of our feminist buttons, or make your own for 50 cents. There is no charge for sign-making and this is open to all ages if accompanied by an adult. Together we rise!

Bookmobile: Ames Public Library
In partnership with the university library, the Ames Public Library's Bookmobile added a regular Iowa State stop to its weekly route. The Bookmobile will park in the turnaround between Parks Library and Morrill Hall from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Thursdays. Items from the Ames Public Library (for all ages) can be checked out, returned or reserved in advance for pick up.

Retirement reception: Harry (Jack) Horner
Harry T. (Jack) Horner, University Professor of genetics, development and cell biology, retired from Iowa State last June 30 after 50-plus years on the Iowa State faculty. Due to circumstances, the department reception was delayed until now.
A Discussion with President Wintersteen
President Wendy Wintersteen will discuss her vision, direction and priorities for Iowa State. Questions are welcome. The discussion will be preceded by a 2:30 p.m. reception. Everyone is welcome; hosted by the ISU Retirees Association.

The purpose of the ISU-OLC is to share campus best practices to improve online teaching and learning; see how others are using the University Learning Management System (LMS) to create innovative learning experiences, inform the campus about existing and new web-based instructional technologies, participate in new technology testing and evaluation; as well as, to leverage LMS expertise, experience and training resources across campus.
