Denny Goodrich will be retiring after 42 years of service to the university. Denny began his career in 1973 at WOI-TV, became a video producer for the Instructional Technology Center and has been working for the last several years with Information Technology Services.

Mid Iowa Woodworkers Woodworking Show
The Mid-Iowa Woodcarvers return for their one-day show on Saturday, May 7! Guests will have the opportunity to view carving contest entries, watch carving demonstrations and participate in a hands-on lesson in whittling.

Building Envelope Commissioning Train the Trainer Workshop
The Train the Trainer program is a five-day (May 9-13) professional workshop of peer learning, including site visits in Cedar Rapids and Iowa City on May 13. Professionals from Architecture and Construction Engineering, as well as Contractors, Project Managers and community college Construction Management educators will prepare for an increased demand for building envelope commissioning protocols.

John Nason, professor of ecology, evolution and organismal biology, will present "A Pollination System on the Edge: Unraveling the Mysteries of Reproduction in the Fig-Fig Wasp Mutualism."

Kids Story Time
Each session features a theme with two or three books read aloud followed by a related craft or activity.
