Horticulture Field Day
This 3rd annual event will include tours of ornamental plant trials, plastic mulch demonstrations, crop production in high tunnels, information on turfgrass care, vineyard and apple orchard trials, and insect and disease studies. There also will be a farmer's market and nonprofit and commercial horticultural exhibits. Registration form is online.

Blackboard workshop: Organizing course content
Examine Bb Learn's Content Folders, Lesson Plan and Learning Module organizational features in a pre-set course shell, and explore how these are influenced by the capabilities of Bb Learn. You will organize some content in one of these features in either your own Bb Learn course or in the pre-set shell.
Lauren Christian Pork Chop Open
This annual event benefits the Lauren L. Christian Endowment, which provides financial support for students and continued swine and pork educational opportunities. Registration deadline is July 6. Entry fee includes lunch, refreshments and the evening picnic meal.

Garden Walk: Sculptures by Bill King and Christian Petersen
Take an evening tour through the Elizabeth and Byron Anderson Sculpture Garden to see the exhibition "Realitès: The Lyric Sculpture of William King." King's Pop Art sculptures represent themes that are inclusive of Iowa State student life including romance, accomplishment, recreation and community. We also will revisit student life of the 1930s and 40s through some of your favorite sculptures by Christian Petersen.

Iowa Shrine Bowl
The 39th annual Iowa Shrine Bowl All-Star Football Classic. The game will showcase 92 high school football players, 60 cheerleaders and 14 dance team members from around the state.
