Belly Dance Lessons
Learn basic belly dance movements and how to perform them in a variety of different ways by making specific choices about size and speed of motion. One or two moves will be explored each week and then put into short practice phrases.
Film: Rape for Profit
This powerful documentary by Mew Films hopes to shed light on the growing problem of human trafficking and uncover the solution to the atrocities happening to Seattle's daughters, nieces and friends. Rape For Profit partners with local law enforcement, teen shelters and non-profit organizations to help educate the city of Seattle on what is going on right in front of them.

Registration begins for sophomores: Spring 2015
First day of assigned Spring 2015 registration dates for students projected as sophomores. Hours for AccessPlus registration are 7 a.m. to 11 p.m., Monday--Saturday.
Youth Program: Caterpillar Club
"Let's Go to the Moon" If you like Kids Story Time, you'll flip for Caterpillar Club! Please join us for winter storytelling twice per month, from October to March. Each gathering features a theme as we read aloud two or three books, and wrap up with related cooperative activities and crafts great for groups and individuals alike. Materials are intended for children ages two to seven years old, & all children must be accompanied by an adult.
Cyclone Club Luncheon
Cyclone Club luncheons are open to the public. The program, led by John Walters, features a different coach each month. Doors open at 11:30 a.m. Cost of admission includes a catered lunch and door prizes.
Learning Community: Engaging Students through Writing
While the possibilities for incorporating writing into a course are endless, these choices can also be overwhelming. What types of assignments will work in my course? How can I respond efficiently to student writing? Walk-In Indigo Scarf Dyeing
Dye a silk or cotton scarf vibrant blue using pre-mixed natural dye. Sarah will show you how to create patterns and variations in tones. Drop in anytime during the evening but give yourself about 45 minutes to complete the project.

Botanical Zendoodle
Join artist and instructor Sara Merritt for a workshop exploring this meditative art form, with particular emphasis on botanical shapes and designs. We will do some quick, focused doodling in the Christina Reiman Butterfly Wing, and look closely at wing patterns and plant contours for inspiration. STEAM program suitable for ages 10+. Registration with prepayment required by Thursday, November 6.
