"Leadership: The Art of Developing Followership," Anne Mulcahy, former CEO of Xerox. She will discuss what she learned about leadership and share how those lessons are even more important in the nonprofit and political environments. Her talk will focus specifically on how leaders develop followers and that successful leaders are authentic. Fall 2010 Mary Louise Smith Chair in Women and Politics and part of the World Affairs Series.

Photographic Interpretations
The photography of King Au currently on display in the Christian Petersen Art Museum represents interpretations of interpretations. His photographs reflect upon some of the historical and contemporary public art on campus, presenting a fresh examination while also staying true to the meaning of the original works of art. Emily Morgan, lecturer in Art & Design, will help analyze these and other photographs.
ISU Opera Studio
Opera Studio will be performing great scenes from Opera-Operetta and Musical Theatre. Mary Creswell is the musical director and Jodi Goble is vocal accompanist.
Algorithmic Thinking in Biology
Iowa State professor of computer science Vasant Honavar directs the university's Center for Computational Intelligence, Learning and Discovery. Much of his work is aimed at helping scientific researchers access, use and share massive amounts of data. Sigma Xi Local Honor Lecture.

Last day to add/drop a second half-semester course without extenuating circumstances.
Pass/Not Pass: second half semester courses
Last day to change a second half-semester course to or from Pass/Not Pass. Second half-semester courses changed to graded basis after Oct 22 count toward total allowable P/NP credits used for graduation.
