Student Field Day
The CALS Graduate Student Field Day, part of the 585X Extension and Outreach course, invites visitors to learn about the impact of weather on disease, insects and crop conditions. Experienced graduate students will talk about what they have learned in plant pathology, entomology, agronomy and horticulture. RSVP by July 29 requested.
ISU Summer Undergraduate Research Symposium

National Science Foundation-funded workshop designed to bring together a diverse group of participants from academia, government, NGOs and industry to explore the Mississippi River Watershed region as a large, interconnected urban and ecological system and develop future research networks and collaborative projects that integrate the body of knowledge about climate, agriculture and ecology with expertise about the governance and design of cities.
